Alexander Reams is a technical director currently working with Minor League Baseball
Alexander's background is in Audio/Visual Production with a focus on live sound mixing. He has worked in this field for 10+ years, yielding many skills, including team management, training, on-call support, and live camera switching, all of which were then further honed during his time with Visua/Virtch
He was connected with Visua/Virtch while he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he graduated with honors, and focused on Broadcasting. On campus, he gained the technical directing skills to direct over 60 games across Baseball, Soccer, Football, and Basketball, and a full season of the PBS talk show "Comic Culture."
With Virtch, he worked over 300 baseball games, along with providing on-call support to all other clients, and with Visua, he gained valuable site work experience installing TVs, speakers, videoboards, and running the necessary cable for all, including the network.
He has also worked on various short film passion projects in the Triangle area. After a brief break during the pandemic, he has since returned to Videography and editing work with Drink in the Movies, as well as local church organizations.
Alexander has continued his series of video countdowns for his favorite films of a given year with the outlet Drink in the Movies, which has continued to keep his editing skills sharp while looking for more permanent editing work.
Alexander is open to work currently.
